AssetDocket

About AssetDocket

Who operates AssetDocket, how it relates to official NYC records, and how to reach a human.

An independent research product

AssetDocket is an independent commercial research tool built on NYC Open Data. It is not affiliated with the NYC Department of Buildings or any government agency, and official records remain controlled by their publishing agencies.

Who operates it

AssetDocket is built and run by Joseph Thomas, an independent founder — not a lead-gen network or a reseller. It is operated through the Plimsoll Line Stripe account, which appears on checkout pages and card statements. Support is answered by the founder at support@assetdocket.com.

What it does and does not do

The product organizes DOB elevator permit applications, recorded violations, and compliance records into a ranked, source-linked review docket. It never claims that work is available, that a condition is unsafe, or that a record establishes buyer intent.
